How do I care for my diptyque candle?
During the first use, I recommend letting the candle burn for 2 or 3 hours, until the entire surface of the wax has become liquid, so that your candle will time.
Never leave the candle burning unattended or for more than 4 hours at a time.
Be sure to recenter the wick in the wax after each use. This will allow for a more even consumption of the wax and will also prevent the wick from getting too close to the glass, which could cause it to overheat.
Finally, regularly trim the wick to a length of 3 to 5 mm, which will allow the candle to burn longer and prevent the wick from producing smoke or falling into the wax and making the candle unusable.
