How do I care for my diptyque candle?
For the first use, I recommend letting the candle burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the entire surface of the wax has melted, so that your candle will burn more evenly the next time.
Never leave the candle burning unattended or for more than 4 hours at a time.
Make sure to re-center the wick in the wax after each use. This will allow for a more even consumption of the wax and also prevent the wick from getting too close to the glass, which could cause it to overheat.
Finally, regularly trim the wick to a length of 3 to 5 mm. This will help the candle burn longer and prevent the wick from smoking or falling into the wax, which would make the candle unusable.
