How to care for my diptyque candle?
For the first use, I recommend letting the candle burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the entire surface layer of wax has melted, so that your candle burns more evenly the next time.
Never leave the candle burning unattended or for more than 4 hours straight.
Be sure to center the wick in the wax after each use. This will allow for a more even consumption of the wax and also prevent the wick from getting too close to the glass, which could cause it to overheat.
Finally, regularly trim the wick to a length of 3 to 5 mm; this will allow the candle to burn longer and prevent the wick from producing smoke or falling into the wax, which would make the candle unusable.
