What is the difference between Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette?

Eau de Parfum is not simply an Eau de Toilette with a higher concentration.

It is a different interpretation of the olfactory story, more intense, for which the composer (the nose) has emphasised a characteristic with new ingredients or a new accord, while remaining true to the original story.

Do Son Eau de Toilette, for example, evokes the fresh and intoxicating scent of a tuberose carried by the sea breeze of Halong Bay. The Eau de Parfum, on the other hand, is an interpretation of the flower at nightfall in a wooden pagoda. The tuberose becomes more lingering, with a more woody note.
