When did you create your first candle?

In 1963, the founders devised a series of candles inspired by their fabrics. Their candle-maker gave them the idea of adding fragrance to them, which was their first innovation. The fragrances they chose were hawthorn, cinnamon and… tea, a revolution in the fragrance world. The trio celebrated the boutique’s second anniversary with three candles, embodying their art de vivre.

This marked the beginning of an extensive portfolio of over fifty fragrances that pay tribute to nature in the simplest of ways by merely enhancing the raw materials themselves.
