Are the oval soap dishes hand painted?

Our soap dishes are not painted, but decorated by hand using the "chromo" technique, which dates back to the 18th century. A craftsman applies a thin film on the ceramic where the designs are printed; then, with the help of water and some agility, the design is transferred to the object.
