Can I recycle or reuse my candle jar?

As part of a sustainable approach, Diptyque seeks to extend the life cycle of its creations by giving them a second life while continually enhancing the recyclability of its products.

Reuse 

For your candle jar:

- When approximately 5 mm of wax remains or the metal disc becomes visible, we invite you to follow the detailed instructions in our article [How to clean a used candle jar?].

- If only a small amount of wax is left, simply wipe with a cloth soaked in soapy water or use the La Droguerie multi-surface spray to remove any residue. Once dry, your jar is ready to be transformed into a bud vase, a pencil holder, a cotton pad container, or even a tealight holder.

Recycling

You may also place your jar in the appropriate recycling bins, or bring it to one of our IFC boutiques offering recycling services (available for 70g & 190g Classic Candles).
