Diptyque was born from the meeting of three free spirits: Desmond Knox‑Leet, Christiane Montadre‑Gautrot, and Yves Coueslant. Their adventure unfolded in harmony with their inspirations—nature, travel, and art. 

At the dawn of the 1960s, in an era of vitality, modernity, and optimism, they envisioned a Maison in their own image: free, curious, and bold.

Even today, we remain guided by this pursuit of beauty, love of nature, and boundless curiosity.
