How can I refill my classic candle?

The new classic candle glass is now refillable. When only 5 mm of wax remains or the metal wick tab becomes visible, it is time to give your candle a second life.

 

Step 1

 

After the final use, allow the candle to cool completely so that the wax hardens and the glass returns to room temperature.

 

Step 2

 

To remove the wax:

Place the candle in a heat-resistant bowl set inside a sink.

Pour water heated  at approximately 60°C into the bowl until it reaches halfway up the candle, taking care not to let any water enter the candle.

Leave for two minutes before removing the jar, holding it by the upper edge.

 

Step 3

 

The wax can then be easily removed by sliding a rounded blade between the wax and the inside wall of the glass. The jar can then be washed by hand using a non-abrasive sponge and La Droguerie dishwashing liquid, or cleaned in a dishwasher.

 

Step 4

 

The candle is now ready to be refilled. Remove the lid, turn the refill upside down, then firmly tap the bottom two or three times to release the wax block. Place it into the glass.

Your candle is ready to use and can be refilled indefinitely.
