Can I recycle or reuse my candle jar?

In a sustainable effort, Diptyque aims to extend the lifecycle of its creations by giving them a second life and improving the recyclability of its products.

Reuse

For your candle jar:

- If a 5 mm layer of wax remains or the metal wick holder is visible, we invite you to follow the detailed instructions in our article [How to clean a used candle jar?]

- If the wax residue is minimal, a simple cloth dampened with soapy water or the multi-surface spray from La Droguerie is enough to remove the residues. Once dry, your jar is ready to become a bud vase, hold pencils, cotton pads, or serve as a tealight holder.

Recycling

You can also place it in the appropriate recycling bins* or bring it back to one of our Parisian boutiques that offer a recycling service.
