What is the history of Diptyque?

Diptyque was born from the meeting of three free spirits, Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, and Yves Coueslant. The adventure came to life inspired by their passions: nature, travel, and art. At the dawn of the 1960s, during a time of great excitement marked by a strong desire for modernity and optimism, they envisioned a House of artists in their image: free, curious, and bold. Even today, we are still guided by this sense of beauty, love of nature, and insatiable curiosity.
