Can I recycle or reuse my candle jar?

As part of its commitment to sustainability, Diptyque strives to extend the life of its creations by encouraging reuse and improving the recyclability of its products.

Reuse

For your candle jar:

- If approximately 5 mm of wax remains or the metal wick base is visible, we invite you to follow the step-by-step instructions in our article How should I clean a candle jar after use?

- If only a small amount of wax remains, simply wipe the interior with a cloth soaked in warm, soapy water or use the multi-surface spray from our La Droguerie collection to remove any residue.

- Once clean and dry, your jar can be given a second life as a flower vase, a holder for pencils or cotton pads, or even as a tealight holder.

Recycling 

Our glass vessels are recyclable. While this service is not yet available in the United States, our Paris boutiques currently offer an in-store recycling program, and we hope to expand this initiative to the US in the future.
