How do I care for my diptyque candle?

For the first use, I recommend letting the candle burn for 2 or 3 hours, until the entire surface of the wax has become liquid. This will help your candle burn more evenly the next time.

Never leave the candle burning unattended or for more than 4 hours at a time.

Be sure to recenter the wick in the wax after each use. This will allow the wax to burn more evenly and also prevent the wick from getting too close to the glass, which could cause it to overheat.
