What is the history of Diptyque?

Diptyque was born from the meeting of three free spirits: Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, and Yves Coueslant. Their shared passions for nature, travel, and the arts gave shape to the adventure. At the dawn of the 1960s, in a spirit of optimism and a growing desire for modernity, they envisioned a creative House in their own image: free, curious, and bold.

Today, the Maison continues to be guided by the same values, a deep sensitivity to beauty, a love of nature, and an enduring sense of curiosity.
